A Comprehensive Professional Resource

MDpanel University is here to support your entire journey as a medical evaluator with high-quality training, expert insights and real-world application to help your practice thrive. In addition, we help physicians prepare for success on the California Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) certification exam.

MDpanel University offers rich instructional resources for medical evaluator professionals that is not found anywhere else:

MDpanel University Live: An ongoing series of virtual events intended to provide physicians an opportunity to connect in an environment where they can ask questions, engage in dialog and learn firsthand from experienced medical evaluators.

Business & Leadership Courses: We offer courses focused on business operations, financial management, and leadership.

Moderated Online Forums: A convenient, easily accessible resource to further professional development, learn answers to common questions, and network with peers.

Independent Medical Evaluator (IME) Content: MDpanel University offers a growing library of physician-focused training designed to strengthen your expertise as an Independent Medical Examination (IME). Our IME Fundamentals series meets both ACCME and QME educational requirements and provides essential guidance on medical evaluators’ practices.

Courses are built by seasoned physicians and industry experts, covering both core foundations and specialty-specific scenarios. Whether you’re new as an IME or seeking to refine your skills, this series supports your development as a confident, credible evaluator.

Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) Content:

  • QME Exam Prep: We offer an engaging, fully interactive learning experience, not just a lecture series or self-paced instructional videos. Our curriculum includes simulated exam scenarios, real-world case applications, study guides, flashcards and practice exams to ensure you’re fully prepared. Instruction is structured, targeted and updated regularly to reflect the latest regulations and best practices. Physicians who take this course pass the exam at a much higher rate than average and are ready to step into their new role as a QME.
  • Report Writing Course: On top of being a requirement, report writing defines your reputation as a QME, with the potential to boost credibility and generate referrals. MDpanel University teaches physicians how to write reports that are clear, hold up under scrutiny, and streamline workflows without sacrificing quality. Physicians will work through real examples, receive expert feedback, and develop confidence in their writing.
  • Enhanced Onboarding: A more structured, seamless, and supportive path to success for new QMEs. Learn how to effectively utilize all of the unique resources MDpanel has for its physicians.

Content For Attorneys: MDpanel University offers expert-led sessions focused on key IME topics, including overviews of the entire evaluation process, what to look for in a physician and the attributes of a great QME report. Designed with practicing attorneys in mind, many of our programs qualify for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits.

Content For Insurance Adjustors: Our adjuster-focused sessions are built to deliver real-world insights on IME practices and trends. Many courses are approved for Continuing Education Units (CEUs), helping professionals stay compliant and current.
