Story
The MDpanel Story
MDpanel was founded on the belief that finding high quality independent medical opinions historically had been confusing to navigate, technology-deficient, poorly curated, and…well, not so independent. Physicians providing medical opinions were largely undertrained, overutilized, and unsupported. In summary, the industry consistently produced inconsistent (but mostly poor) results.
In parallel, most physicians were either not aware of supplemental earning potential of medical opinions or found the administrative burden of delivery not worth the effort. As such, physicians (whose practice revenue continued to drop in real terms) who could have been excellent IMEs looked elsewhere for supplemental income.
MDpanel believed there had to be a better way. So, in 2023, we decided to begin making meaningful investments to modernize the medical opinion industry. Tens of millions of dollars later, we launched our new platform which removed nearly all administrative burden from our physicians and clients. In parallel, we founded MDpanel University, the only immersive learning environment where physicians could learn and perfect their medical opinion craft. Collectively, the result is the nearly frictionless marketplace where well-trained physicians deliver the highest quality medical opinions across the US and Canada. MDpanel was born and the industry will never be the same.
Today, MDpanel supports hundreds of thousands of medical opinion deliveries annually generating almost a half-billion dollars to healthcare professionals who provide these opinions.
