Wayne Weil, MD, QME, is a licensed Orthopedic Surgeon who is available for PQMEs, AMEs or Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) at several locations throughout California.
BIO
Wayne Weil, MD, QME, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political and diplomatic history from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctor of Medicine from New York School of Medicine. He completed an internship in general surgery at New York Medical Center, a residency at New York University, Hospital for Join Diseases, and a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Washington.
Dr. Weil is currently an orthopedic surgeon at the Swedish Medical Center and is the only physician in the Swedish Hospital system who performs endoscopic carpal tunnel release surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr. Weil is also one of the only physicians in Seattle who performs the endoscopic cubital tunnel release surgery for cubital tunnel syndrome (or, “cell phone elbow”). Dr. Weil has published several scientific papers and presented his research in the field of upper extremity trauma at national meetings.
