BIO

Ripu D. Arora, MD, QME, is a board-certified anesthesiologist who provides chronic and acute pain management services in Los Angeles County.  Dr. Arora received his medical degree from Guru Nanak University Medical College, Amritsar, in Punjab, India. He then worked in General Surgery at the Institute of Medical Education & Sciences in Chandigarh, India, after which he was the Senior House Officer in Orthopedics, Surgery and Otolaryngology at Brook General Hospital in London, U.K. His Internship in General Surgery was completed at University of Maryland and his Residency in Anesthesiology was done at Case Western University. He received his Healthcare Executive MBA from University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Arora is Director and Founder of Peninsula Interventional Pain Management Center where he has practiced for over 40 years. He also practices at Victorville Community Hospital, Torrance Surgery Center, Torrance Memorial Hospital and San Pedro Peninsula Hospital. Some of his professional memberships include American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Medical Association, California Medical Association, International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS) and California Society of Anesthesiology (CSA). He has been a volunteer Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine, and a Clinical Instructor of Advanced Interventional Techniques for ISIS and CSA. Dr. Arora is also a Diplomate of the American Society of Pain Management and has been twice awarded “Physician of Excellence” by the O.C. Medical Association.
