BIO
Kevin Nowrangi, Md, QME, is a board-certified psychiatrist with sub-specialized training in child and adolescent psychiatry as well as forensic psychiatry. I have many years of experience assessing and treating a range of psychiatric disorders and I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults achieve improved mental health.
I have provided consultation and treatment to patients with psychiatric disorders, such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. I take a holistic approach to my work with each individual patient to understand their unique strengths and challenges in order to provide tailored treatment plans.
In addition to practicing psychiatry, I perform expert witness evaluations and testimony for lawyers and courts in medical-legal and psychiatric cases. I have served as an expert in both civil and criminal cases. My work as a forensic psychiatrist has allowed me to expand my knowledge of psychiatric illnesses, while creating an opportunity to teach others about the intricacies of the brain. As a child and adolescent forensic psychiatrist, I have expertise in additional areas of child development, trauma, behavioral disorders, custody, and more.
