BIO
Jonathan Ellis, MD, QME, graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Honors in Humanities. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine, then moved to Los Angeles where he completed a three-year Internal Medicine Residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He was selected as Chief Resident, a one-year teaching position in which he supervised training of Internal Medicine Residents. He then completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the UCLA Integrated Program in Digestive Diseases and Nutrition. Since completing his fellowship, he has been running a private practice in gastroenterology in the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills area.
Dr. Ellis holds lifetime board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He holds the titles of Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA Geffen School of Medicine and Attending Physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Ellis is active on hospital committees both at Cedars-Sinai and at UCLA. Dr. Ellis has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards throughout his career.
