BIO
Irene Fruchtbaum, PhD, QME, is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience in psychology and psychotherapy with individuals, family and couples. She has been involved in private practice in addition to numerous pro-bono projects including organizing a counseling program for Soviet immigrants, providing lectures and seminars for parents on issues of teenage substance abuse and behavior problems.
Dr. Fruchtbaum earned her PhD at The University of California, Los Angeles and completed three years of extensive post-doctoral training at the Vista Del Mar Mental Health Center, where she provided clinical assessments, school consultation, individual, play and group therapy with a primary focus on family therapy.
For the last 9 years, Dr. Fruchtbaum has also been performing medical-legal evaluations for workers compensation and other personal injury clients. She has been a licensed qualified medical examiner (Q.M.E.) since 2014. Dr. Fruchtbaum also has experience with depositions and court testimony.
