David A. Valentine, MD, QME, is a licensed Neurologist who is available for PQMEs, AMEs or Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) at several locations throughout California.
BIO
David A. Valentine, MD, QME, studied creative writing, psychology and chemistry and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Allegheny College. He received his MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, where he graduated with a focus on medical humanities and art, undertook a research year at the University of Hong Kong to study neurolinguistics, taught neurology clerkship medical students at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and spent time in the neurology department at National Taiwan University in Taipei. He completed his internship in internal medicine, residency in neurology, and fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at NYU. While there, he served as a chief resident with a strong drive for educating his peers and patients, and drove educational, quality improvement, and research initiatives that were presented at multiple national and international conferences. He has a special interest in epilepsy and taking a comprehensive, biopsychosocial approach to the healthcare of his patients.
