BIO
Carla Scheel, DC, QME, received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology, graduating Magna Cum Laude from University of Regina in Canada. She then earned her Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating Suma Cum Laude from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. She is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and has been a practicing chiropractor since 2000.
Dr. Scheel has been conducting medical-legal evaluations since 2002. She has extensive experience evaluating and treating claimants in the workers’ compensation system, mostly through her work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team treating orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Dr. Scheel is experienced in evaluating and discussing treatment that is compliant with the California MTUS and ACOEM Guidelines. She is also well-versed in the application of the various methodologies for describing whole person impairment in the AMA Guides, 5th Edition.
