BIO
Archis D. Desai, MD, QME, born in a family with strong roots to the field of medicine, Dr. Desai wanted to be a physician from a very young age. He spent his childhood traveling between the United States and India, graduating high school and finishing medical school from India. After completing medical school, Dr. Desai moved to the United States with a goal of pursuing a career as a physician in 2012. He finished an internship and residency at San Joaquin General Hospital.
Dr. Desai is currently the medical director for Desai Medical Group & Behavioral Health with the aim of providing integrated and value-based healthcare. He has worked as an independent provider in primary care and as a part-time hospitalist with Dignity Health. The core principle at Desai Medical Group & Behavioral Health is to adopt a “Whole Person Care” approach by integrating Primary Care and Behavioral Health.
