Amanda Goldstein, M.D., QME (née Wachtel)
Dr. Goldstein is a board certified psychiatrist. She trained at the University of Chicago’s Adult Psychiatry Residency Program where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She completed an additional year of training at UCLA’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. She received her medical degree from the University at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Goldstein is committed to providing exceptional care and helping her patients achieve optimal health and functioning. She works collaboratively with her patients to uncover root problems, and then develops a treatment plan drawing on a broad set of tools. She is trained in psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, and is particularly interested in addressing lifestyle imbalances and utilizing technology to improve patient care. Dr. Goldstein is also trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Insomnia.
Dr. Goldstein is a recipient of the 2021 & 2022 Super Doctors Top Southern California Rising Stars.
